2017 – 2018 Performances & Events
February 18, 2018 –  St. James Episcopal Church in Monkton

The Chamber Choir will be performing at St. James.   We will be accepting donations at the door.  Concert begins at 3 p.m.

February 24, 2018 –  Deer Creek Chorale Annual Fundraiser

Our annual fundraiser An Evening to Inform and Inspire will be held at the Hunt Valley Golf and Country Club.  The evening will include heavy hors d’oeuvres and a cash bar beginning at 6:00 p.m.  Guests will have the opportunity to stroll through our enticing collection of Silent Auction items while enjoying the wonderful performances by both the Chamber Choir and Youth Choir.  The band Different Sisters will close the evening with an hour of music and dancing.  We can’t wait to see you there!

March 19, 2018 –  Carnegie Hall !

Beloved artistic director Marty Banghart has been honored with an invitation to direct at Carnegie Hall in NYC.  She has selected Dan Forrest’s Requiem for the Living for her Carnegie directorial debut.  Selected singers from North America will join the Deer Creek Chorale and Chamber Choir for a chance of a lifetime performance.  Please click on the link below to be directed to the Carnegie Hall website to purchase tickets to the event.

April 7, 2018 –  Maryland Young Voices Festival, St. Matthews Lutheran Church  in Bel Air

The Deer Creek Youth Choir has the privilege of hosting the statewide Young Voices Festival right here in Harford County!

This all-day annual festival brings together the top children’s and youth community choirs from across the state for a day full of music making and sharing.  Students will have the opportunity to work with acclaimed conductor, Melissa Keylock from the Princeton Girlchoir and American Boychoir.  Choirs will perform individually for each other as well as together in a group festival choir under the direction of Melissa Keylock.  The day culminates in a free concert with all choirs at 7 p.m.

May 6, 2018 –  Music for Living, North Harford High School

Our culminating 2017-18 season concert is a tribute to our past. We are partnering once again with Pennies for Peace to support building schools in the Middle East. World-famous composer/conductor Z. Randall Stroope joins us once again to lead us in Forest’s Requiem for the Living. More information and tickets coming soon!
