02/04/2022 – Dreary Friday but have the Olympic Spirit!!!!

Good afternoon friends,

I hope this missive finds you well, dry, warm and getting comfortable and confident with the Mozart. It will only get more fun and inspiring as you get better!!

Firstly, some exciting newcomers. On Tuesday we will welcome Bass Barron Shaw (Mary Sue’s son) and Tenor Jeff Ayres (husband of Janet) to the choir. Both gentlemen know the Requiem which will help us all during the learning process.

After over 2 years, your Chamber Choir will return to the stage!!! They will be performing Sunday at the gorgeous chapel at Charlestown Retirement Community in Catonsville. It feels so good to once again be bringing joy to our audiences.

Please take a lovely poster and put in your church/workplace/business and/or library. Also take some bookmarks to circulate. If you are on Facebook/Instagram please share our stories and invite others to like our page. Also check out the new blog post on our website. It traces our journey to Carnegie Hall.

Some changes/additions to our calendar:
March 16, 7-9 Rehearsal for Carnegie at Bethel.

March 20, 3pm New date for Chamber concert at St. James Church.

Now for Tuesday’s schedule:

1. Warmups taken from Volume I 10-21.

2. With One Voice and Lord, Give me just a Little more Time.
