02/05/2021 – Practicing @ Home – DCYC Learning Files
Dear DCYC Parents,
I’m happy to share that I have completed many more practice recording to help our singers practice their music at home. We are learning A LOT of new music this spring for all of our different concerts and festivals (it feels so good to have a normal spring season again). It’s very important that singers practice at home at least 3 times a week (15-20min) in addition to our Thursday practices. We perform ALL music from memory so repetition is important. Please help your child find a way that they can practice on their own – downloading the tracks to their device or bookmarking the Google drive link (or old school – burning a cd!) please let me know if you need help or ideas.
It’s also very important that you download the correct tracks for them. Please refer to the Voice part assignment list below.
Vivace singers – If your child sings Soprano/Middle or Alto/Middle make sure you download the track marked “middle” for that song (instead of just plain soprano or alto). If you ever are unsure of which track to download – I’m happy to help – just send me a quick email.
