03/19/2021 – Marty’s Missives – Friday March (Madness) Missive
Dear singers,
So excited to report that Bethel is now available to us for hybrid rehearsals. Please take note of this schedule:
March 23 and 30-hybrid rehearsals from 7-8. Most folks will still be virtual but a small group will be together which will be streamed. Wayne will send out more info about the technology end of it. At this point, think it will still be on zoom.
April 6-All virtual with final instructions about the rest of the season and plans for our 15th anniversary season. Will run the program for the virtual concert and show How Can I Keep from Singing.
8:15-9:00 Alto and bass sectional. Please plan to arrive a few minutes early, come through the lobby for temps and to sign a waiver for St. Ignatius. Melissa Sweeney will be available for any help or questions. Then exit out the back door of the church.
April 20 7-8pm Full rehearsal at St. Ignatius.
April 27 7-8pm Filming
May 23, 3:00 DCYC and Ladies Six in concert at Starbright Lavender Farm.

Friends, what a tough year this has been but with your help and support, the DCC organization has survived and thrived. I look so forward to celebrating what we have learned and accomplished and welcoming Shisa back to the piano!!!!! I am sure when I first hear your voices in song, I am going to get very emotional.

This is more information about the concert tomorrow (Saturday, March 20) for the Gloria by Rutter Concert presented by the Run By Singers Online Virtual Choir. It contains information on how to access the link to the concert and if anyone would like to make a 5 pound donation (approximately $7) to Run By Singers that would benefit and support professional musicians during this difficult time. Making a donation to the virtual choir is optional. I look forward to the concert tomorrow afternoon at 3:30 PM EDT (7:30 PM GMT).
