03/26/2021 – Marty’s Missives – A brief Friday missive
Good evening folks,
We are blazing forward and in a few weeks, will be reuniting. ALL the information you need to know is on the member page/syllabus. We will stage another hybrid rehearsal on Tuesday and work Water is Wide, Hand in Hand, How Can I Keep and With One Voice.
Please put these dates on your calendar:
April 22 5-9pm Fundraiser at Jarrettsville Creamery. Please plan to have your dinner there with ice cream of course!!! Let’s spread the word and invite family and friends.
May 15/16 Viewing of our Virtual concert
May 23, 3pm DCYC and the Ladies Six in concert at Starbright Lavender Farm

This is an important update in regards to the Rutter concert. As you know, the concert is tomorrow (Saturday March 27) at 3:30pm EDT (7:30 PM GDT). This is an important update I want to share with you, the Deer Creek Chorale, and Deer Creek Chamber Singers in terms of accessing the Youtube link for The Glory of Rutter concert. The previous email that I’ve sent out earlier in the week in terms of the old link for the concert had some technical problems and so this is the most newly updated link to the virtual concert. If anyone is not able to watch it live during the 30 minute live concert, they will have access to it anytime for up to a month after the live concert has been posted. I hope this is very helpful as I not only look forward to the virtual concert tomorrow, but also to our “Wake Me A Song” spring concert when we record it at St. Ignatius Catholic Church on Tuesday, April 27. I’ll see you at the next rehearsal this Tuesday.
