04/03/2021 – Marty’s Missives – Greetings on this special weekend
Dear singers,
With this missive comes the plan for our last virtual rehearsal which I hope you can all attend. Excitement is building for our reunion and I feel such joy and freedom when I ponder that special moment. So here is the schedule:
1. Warmups provided by Eric Taylor, artistic director of the Detroit Children’s Chorus (another DCC). You might want to take notes. Valuable info on Phonation, vocal agility and solfege hand signs.
2. Sing first half of program-Wake me a Song, Viva la Musica, Hope and Roots.
3. Member Spotlight
4. Water is Wide, How Can I Keep and Hand in Hand
5. Important info about the preparations and logistics for our virtual concert. Since many are asking, will all be in black. Long sleeves preferred. No gowns.
6. Sneak preview of our 15th anniversary season.
7. With one Voice
As you can see, April 6th is important for many reasons so please try to be there.
