04/07/2021 – Flipgrid Solo Auditions- due tonight!
Hi everyone!
Thank you to the 4 singers who have submitted a solo audition video so far! I need all solo videos to be submitted on flipgrid by tonight! I will make final decision tomorrow morning, so I can announce them and we can start to practice with our soloists at rehearsal tomorrow night.
I know there are many other interested singers out there so I don’t want them to miss out on the opportunity to audition! Please have them take a few minutes tonight to share their recording on flipgrid. These are super short and sweet informal videos that they can complete on their own once they are set up in the site. No parent help is needed. This is not as intense as our virtual choir submission videos were.

Flipgrid Solos Auditions – Due by April 1st
I’ve added a few new videos to our DCYC Flipgrid page. We have a number of solo opportunities in our Spring Repertoire and they will audition by sharing a video on our Flipgrid Page. This is a page we used last spring and this fall so you will see a variety of “topics” listed. Seasons of Love, I See Colors and Al Shlosha are the current songs with solos this Spring. You do need to login to use flipgrid – but once you’ve done it the first time, it shouldn’t ask your child again. Flipgrid is regularly used by educators and should be accessible from a chromebook/school computer.
