05/04/2021 – Missing you missive?!

Dear Singers,

It is Tuesday and I am finding myself with no place to go!!!!!! Since September I have been driving to Bel Air and seeing Wayne and you all on zoom as we navigated our virtual rehearsals. I often go now on the website and revisit those wonderful interviews and pep talks!!!! And to think we created three amazing virtual projects, one being our commissioned piece “Roots”. At the end of each rehearsal, Wayne would give me the count and I was ecstatic when attendance reached 58!!!! I drove home thinking we must be doing something right!!!!!

So now I have to wait until September 14 to make music with you again. The rehearsal/filming at St. Ignatius was magical and I look forward to being physically present in the Fall.

Now for some important dates:

May 15 Registration/deposit for Carnegie. Receive 50.00 discount if register early. Once we know numbers, will look into hotels.

May 23, 3pm DCYC and Ladies Six in concert at Starbright. Bring the whole family and enjoy a beautiful afternoon in the country. Tickets are a steal so please come. Are available on the website/Facebook event. Let’s celebrate together the waning of the past year!!!! I think even some hugs are allowed!!!!

If you have not already, please get your vaccination!!!!

June 5/6 The launch of “Wake Me a Song”. Can not wait. Mark wrote me that night and the heading was OMG!

New registration forms should be available by the first of June on our website. Already welcoming new folks!!! Meredith and Kathy B. are recruiting so if you have any suggestions, let them know.
