05/05/2022 – DCYC Concert Week & Bring a Friend Night!
Dear DCYC Families,
Our spring concert is almost here! We hope you and many friends and family members will be able to join us on Saturday for our spring concert, Hold Fast to Dreams, at Chestnut Grove Presbyterian Church at 7pm. A poster is attached to share!
Just a few reminders!
Concert Rehearsal – TONIGHT- Thursday, May 5th from 5:30-7:30pm. Held at Chestnut Grove Presbyterian Church – 3701 Sweet Air Rd. Phoenix, MD 21131. Singers should wear their TEAL DCYC Tshirts. Singers should bring a snack and water bottle with them.
Concert Saturday @ Chestnut Grove Presbyterian
Call time: 6pm in Black formal concert attire. Concert begins at 7pm.
NO Tickets required, but we will have a free-will offering.
Chestnut Grove is so excited to host us and has generously offered to provide a light reception after the concert. We hope you will be able to join us briefly to celebrate.
Bring a Friend Night – Thursday, May 12 6-7:30pm
Next Thursday is our much anticipated Bring a Friend Night! All singers should attend and are strongly encouraged to invite a friend to join them. Parents of interested singers are also encouraged to attend. An electronic copy of the paper invite your kids received last week is attached. Please screenshot/save images and share with friends via text or email! We will need parent help to serve ice cream and donations to make it a successful event. Please sign-up to help here.

This is a big time for recruitment for our program so we can continue to grow and reach new singers. Please help us by sharing the flyers for our concert, bring a friend night and auditions on your community facebook pages, sharing with your church community or music director, or even with your child’s school music teacher as a reminder that your singer is a part of our program.
