05/17/2020 – To Bring a Sunday Smile

I hope you are all doing well!!! Loving this Spring weather. Shout out to our awesome Sharon Kachur and her teams for their continued efforts. 3,000 masks have now been delivered. So proud and grateful.

The virtual choir is almost ready for publication. You will be the first to know.

Your artistic staff and board are continually working on alternative plans moving forward. These will be posted mid summer.

Great news!!!! A former Banghart Scholar, Katelyn Hemling, has just been named the new Choral Director at North Harford High School. I am over the moon. It is a fabulous story which only could have happened because of these crazy times. Always look for the silver lining!!!

I continue to do my volunteering, explore new hikes, try new recipes (my cook is still in Florida), tackle harder puzzles ( getting addicted), revisit my old piano and song books, look through old photo albums as I approach our 46th wedding anniversary and 45th year in this house and talking with many colleagues and friends around the world. I am working very hard to stay positive and creative as we approach the future of community singing. Hang in there with me. I will need your help!!!

Have a good week, stay in touch, be well and pray for a medical miracle.

Musical hugs,
Marty
