09/22/2021 – Tomorrow’s Rehearsal, this Saturday and Next!

I’m excited to hear our combined 2021-2022 Deer Creek Youth Choir together for the first time tomorrow night!  Just a reminder that our Combined Rehearsal schedule is slightly longer for both choirs:

Vivace | 6:15-8pm

If you have a DCYC concert attire item that no longer fits your singer, please bring it with you tomorrow!  We will be placing our formal concert attire order on Friday and would like to pass along as many used items as possible before ordering new!  If you would like to SELL your used items – please bring them in a ziploc bag with the attached form completed.

We also invite ALL Parents to join our singers in the church sanctuary from 6:45-7pm to hear Rick Bernstein, the founder of First Fruits Farm.   Rick is a wonderful speaker who will share the story of how he began First Fruits Farm and how it serves our local community and beyond.

We are excited to partner with First Fruits Farm this year and involve our singers in a hands-on way to give back to our community.  We hope that your family is able to join us.  I know Saturdays in the fall are a very tricky time of year with sports — so if you do not have a conflict- please, please plan to come!!  Wear your teal DCYC shirts and bring a bag lunch. Gloves will be provided.  Don’t forget to sign up online and complete the waiver online before you come!

Our first performance of the season is right around the corner!  I hope that many of our DCYC parents/grandparents will be able to come and support our Deer Creek Choir family and enjoy an afternoon of fantastic music and wonderful food & drink.  It’s also a great opportunity for a special day with your DCYC singer – they are sure to love all of the different musicians performing!  This is a special fundraiser as we celebrate 15 years of the Deer Creek Chorale and the planning committee has worked extremely hard to put together a perfect evening — we hope you can be with us.  The Youth Choir will perform at approximately 3:15pm.  Those who are coming just to sing are asked to leave following DCYC’s performance.
