09/23/2022 – Autumn is here!!!

Dear singing friends,

What a lively rehearsal on Tuesday night! It was so much fun to hear the fascinating stories of our new members. And the sound that we are already producing… Pretty darn exciting. Do check out the video on our Facebook page. And so many neat things coming up.

I hope we are all focused on the event October 1. God forbid if we do have torrential rains, we have a rain date which is Sunday the 2nd  But I being the eternal optimist, I think we will be good to go. I Will be sending you the PDF for the flyer which you can use as an invitation and the live auction items in a separate email. If you are unable to come to the event but would still like to bid, please talk with someone who is going who could represent you.

Now for the rehearsal on September 27. Greg will be warming you up with the exercises from volume four and the Ukrainian alleluia. Please check that out on the learning files so you’re ready to sing through it. He will then work with you on A red red rose, the entire piece. After that, we will do the next section of True colors and review sections one and two, review the Silver Swan and show off our memorization skills with Walk on a rainbow trail. Should be a very interesting escapade!

Looking ahead, Dr. Ed Mclary will be our guest clinician on November 1. He will focus on True Colors, The Blue Ridge and Deep Purple. All need to be in attendance.

Here’s wishing you a great weekend and good luck to the Ladies Six as they rock the chapel at Oakcrest Retirement Community on Sunday!!!!

Musical hugs,
Marty
