09/30/2021 – Thank you!! Saturday Reminders…
Hi DCYC Families!
Thank you to everyone for their support for our combined rehearsal this evening. Our DCYC singers are working SO hard and I was very proud of the evident practice that so many of them put in last week! Their practice outside of our Thursday rehearsal makes a huge difference, not just in our group sound, but also each singers’ confidence and contentment in rehearsal.
Also huge thanks to everyone who joined us at First Fruits Farm last Saturday! It was a beautiful morning of service together — it’s amazing what we can accomplish together (like harvesting 37,000 lbs of potatoes!) DCYC Parent, Tracey Grumbach, shared some beautiful pictures that she took on Saturday. I’ve shared the post on our DCYC Parent Facebook group.
It’s looking like this beautiful weather will still be with us on Saturday for our performance at Star Bright Farm. I know of a few singers who have a conflict with Saturday’s performance. If you have not already communicated a conflict we are counting on your child to sing (of course barring any illness!)

When: Saturday, October 2nd
Call Time: 2pm
Performance Time: 3:15-3:30pm
Concert Attire: Teal DCYC T-shirt with pants/shorts
What to Bring: Water bottle & DCYC Binder
Singers who are not staying for the entire event are free to leave immediately after we sing.
We can’t wait to share this performance with all of you – 4 awesome songs in JUST 4 WEEKS! And if your child is not feeling ready…have them spend a little more time with their practice recordings.
