10/01/2021 – Greetings on this gorgeous Friday!!!

Hope you are having a lovely Friday and looking forward to a show stopping weekend. Your committee has been hard at work and tomorrow is looking like a perfect day. If your plans have changed and you would like to attend, we have a few tickets left. Please let Melissa know ASAP. I have included some pics from our morning work party. Such fun!!!!

Wayne’s From the Studio segment is so helpful. I even learned a couple new things about navigating the members page and learning files. Please prepare for Tuesday and keep reviewing and looking ahead.

For Tuesday:

Warmups 6 and 7 and 13. May review some others. Many of you commented about “The Peace of the Earth”.

Learn the notes of Abendlied (Evening) It is so gorgeous. Will be singing on a doo. Notice the divisi. May switch a few voices here and there to help with balance. It is in German meaning”

Bide with us, for evening shadows darken and the day will soon be over”.  In the program, will follow this with Unclouded Day.

Going to attack the Promise of Living a little differently. Measures 23-44. (Absolutely essential that you number the measures). Measures 70 to the end. Once you get the feel of the meter changes, it will seem much easier. I am sure there are folks who have done this before. Be our leaders!!!
