10/08/2021 – What a week!!!!

So much accomplished on Tuesday!!!  Thank you for your hard work. Rehearsals will become more “musically centered” once you know your notes!!!! The learning files are invaluable, especially for The Earth Provides.

Once again bravo and thank you to all who were involved in our October 2 event. There were 32 of you who were there so you understand the magnitude and success of our special day. Special thanks go out to Wayne, Julie, Melissa, Lance, Jan, Kathy, Steph, Meccy, Louise, Luianne, Kris, Mary Sue, Lynn and all the volunteers who helped park, setup/clean up, dance, haul garbage,  donate items and money AND Starbright for being such awesome partners. We are all blessed!!!

Our last opportunity this Fall to harvest is October 16. Bring friends and family. It is an amazing experience!!!! Spread the word. Just need to fill out the waiver. And special thanks to Patty for coordinating this service project!!

Now for Tuesday. This is our last chance to prepare for Blake on October 19th. We will spend most of the rehearsal on Unclouded Day, Abendlied, Promise of Living and The Earth Provides. It is invaluable to drill saying the words in rhythm. It is all about the text!!!! And as you all know, the rhythms have to be right. That is where it all starts!!!! I implore you to come super prepared so we can leave feeling energized and satisfied.

For October 19 rehearsal, please plan to wear your DCC T-shirt. We will present one to Blake and take a group photo. Let Melissa know if you need one.

About concert dresses, due to Covid, new members have the option of purchasing our standard gown or if you have a long sleeve black full length dress, that will work for this season. Melissa has the info to order.
