10/15/2021 – Important reminders from the road!
Dear friends,
Great rehearsal on Tuesday! Everyone worked very hard and we got a lot accomplished. With quality additional home study, we should be ready for Blake come Tuesday. He is very excited to spend time with us, especially on the 3 pieces I chose for him to focus on: Unclouded Day, Abendlied and The Promise of Living. He will be warming you up and then dig in. I am asking Everyone to be at rehearsal!! One of the perks of your membership is getting to work with conductors like Blake. We are so blessed.
Please wear DCC T-shirt to rehearsal and your mask. Bring pencil, All music in a folder and hydration.
I will miss being with you tomorrow at First Fruits. Again, thank you to Patty and all who have embraced this opportunity for community service.

That’s it for now. Will be singing To Everything there is a Season, Abide with Me and A Parting Blessing for my Aunt Arlene’s funeral. I was actually a flower girl in her wedding when I was 6, muff and all. Was going to do To my old Brown Earth but thought it was pushing my emotional limit.
