10/24/2025 – Another gorgeous autumn day!

Good morning, friends,

Another wonderful rehearsal! I came home so jazzed that I couldn’t fall asleep. Congratulations to the Soprano 2, alto 2 and bass 2’s for Perfect attendance!

We have three more rehearsals before our dress rehearsal at Saint Ignatius. I feel like we are in a very good spot and can now concentrate on bringing the music to the next level. As we have discovered, it is all about diction, articulation, pitch security, dynamics, communication, balance, and matching our facial expressions with the energy of the text. All of these aspects of our performance will be focused on.

Courtney Martin will enlighten us about our service partner, and how each of us can help.

At the past board meeting, a change of leadership has been approved. Stephanie Davis has served as the DCC president for 10 years and is stepping down. Jeff Roemer will be taking the reins and we are so appreciative for both of them! Dedicated leadership is imperative for the growth and physical health of any organization, and we are blessed to have committed folks that believe in our mission!

Special thanks to our hard-working inform and inspire committee. We look forward to a successful fundraiser and donor reception on Sunday.

Kate Leventhal shared this very interesting article. It is just another example of how singing changes lives!
