11/16/2021 – DCC Concert – Program Order and Learning Files

Hello all,

Here are some last minute reminders.

Also, this is a reminder that “dress” rehearsal is a term used in the performing arts for the final run-through before a scheduled performance. It started in theater to mean that everyone in the cast would “dress” in costume and perform as if an audience was there, but for us (and most choral/instrumental groups) it does NOT mean to dress as we would for the concert. We do recommend that you might want to wear the shoes you will be wearing for the concert, just so you can prepare for how that will feel, but PLEASE DON’T DRESS UP FOR TONIGHT. Dress comfortably.

Remember we will be performing in masks. It will take some time to arrange everyone in position on the “stage.” We will be spread out more than we typically would be, but not as far as we have been in rehearsal. We also need to keep space open for a few people who are not able to attend tonight. Patience and long suffering may be called for!

I posted the learning files for Sing! My apologies for not getting them up sooner. I thought I had and forgot that I hadn’t.
