6/05/2025 – Note before I head North
Dear singing friends,
After multiple meetings, finalized music order, learning files updated, many phone calls and text messaging, final board meeting and celebration, introductory meeting to Father Andrew at Saint Ignatius and securing outstanding soloists for the spring program, I depart for a three month adventure feeling caught up!!!
I am excited to announce the hire of our new bookkeeper, Ryan Wilson! It is so wonderful to have one of our own keeping our books along with Lance.
Also, I am excited to announce that Danny McDavitt will be our guest speaker at the annual Inform and Inspire Donor Appreciation event on October 25th at Silo Hill. Here are some pics of Danny at Carnegie Hall conducting Three Memories which was commissioned by us in 2017.
We welcome our new board members (check out the website for information) and look forward to working on big things in the future.
Auction items. Please be in touch with Melissa and Kris and any other board members if you can help out making calls, emailing, picking up restaurant gift certificates, sorting, labeling, etc. This is our only fundraiser and we need everyone to help out!
Registration is now open. I get very excited to see and hear our new configured choir on September 16th. Please spread the word about the scholarship program and the opportunities of making great music together. Balance is always a priority so keep that in mind as you recruit new singers!
