2/06/2026 – Happy Friday!

Dear friends,

I don’t know about you, but I left dancing on Tuesday. I had so much fun and you all were really rocking it! It was hard for me to believe that that was our second in person rehearsal. As I said, there was a wall of sound which was simply exhilarating! And all of the basses were in attendance. Maybe that was why!

Yesterday I had an incredible day and will give you a synopsis on Tuesday. Let’s just say that I was in the presence of choral stardom!

Here is a hint!!!!

Can’t wait to share!

Now for the plan on February 10.

Warm-ups:  15, 20, 5, 6 (Dona Nobis round)
Shall we gather at the river?

Song of peace

MPT- all markings should be there for Kyrie and Agnus Dei.  We will finish both of these movements. They are the easy ones. Learn the solos too for fun!!!

I can feel the spirit – 1-51 say  the words in rhythm. We will initially sing on doots. It is a quick way to clean up any rhythmic issues.

Sing onto the sky with soloists. We will run it once and then I will turn over to Roy. Remember, memorize.

Sogno di Volare- bouncy, crisp diction, energy, faces, know what you are singing about!

I want to thank all of you who donated your five dollars for the blessing bags. If you did not bring any cash last week, Corky will gladly take your offering. This is a wonderful way to contribute to the mission of Chestnut Grove.

I am very excited about the Olympics! Not so much the Super Bowl, but go Patriots! Have a great weekend and stay well and see you on Tuesday!

Musical hugs,
Marty
