2/19/2023 – A Sunday Update!
As most of you know, September 28, 2022 was devastating to SW Florida with Ian’s eye hitting Sanibel. At that time, our home was decimated and Ray has been there since October 14 working and monitoring the cleanup. I am happy to report that finally the roofers showed up this past Tuesday and our house is sealed from the elements. Now the serious work of rebuilding can begin.
Ray and I were truly blessed this past week to have been invited to our friends home on elbow key in Abaco, Bahamas. We were able to relax and be with good friends and be inspired by the work that has been done there in the last four years from hurricane Dorian. Just what the doctor ordered!
I want to thank you all for your support, your prayers and for making music with me over these past five months. It has kept me focused and nourished. Thank you to Greg and Michael for running rehearsal this past Tuesday. Sounds like a lot was accomplished and I can’t wait to be with you all again!
