3/01/2025 – Here we go! Exciting!
Dear friends,
A busy week ahead! As I sit here at my daughter‘s house in Virginia, I am taking a few minutes to write you and practice the Illuminare. Everything is set in motion: programs ordered; new posts on Social Media; invitations sent; posters distributed; tickets being bought; sign up genius almost filled and the list goes on! Have you shared, invited, practiced, supported? Let’s make DCC magic!
First things first! I hope to see many of you tomorrow.
The chamber choir members are always excited to see your smiling faces!
Tuesday’s rehearsal will be much like last week when we ran the two programs. There are a couple spots I want to concentrate on, but otherwise, the more we do it, the better we get. We will start the rehearsal working on Hymn to the fallen.
I look forward to everybody being there ready to make gorgeous music. Michael’s rehearsal with the SSO went very well and he is most excited about the concert.
2:00 call time March 9 with concert at 3:00.
I know next weekend is very busy but after that, we will concentrate on the new music for our May 10 concert. I think you will enjoy the repertoire! The Mozart is such fun and we get to do Illuminare again. Heidi will conduct the Mozart!
