3/03/2023 – Friday Missive #2 Holy Week at Chestnut Grove
Dear singers,
Please read the note from Matt, the director of the choir at Chestnut Grove. I intend to sing with them since I will not be in Sanibel and I want to show my gratitude for welcoming us. Let me know if you are interested.

Dear Marty,
I hope all is well on your end! I can’t tell you how happy I am that Chestnut Grove has been able to provide a space for DCC to rehearse. We love having you!
If any of your members would be interested, we would LOVE to have you join us for Holy Week services at Chestnut Grove. These are special, meaningful services each year. Our music ministry continued throughout the pandemic, but we could use some additional voices to round out our numbers for this special occasion.
In addition to service music, we will be presenting Joseph Martin’s “Festival of Palms” and Pepper Choplin’s “Run to the Tomb,” as well as the traditional gospel tune, “Oh Happy Day.”
Chestnut Grove is such a wonderful place to worship – if anyone is looking for a church this Easter (or anytime!), this would be a wonderful place to be!
All best,
Matt
