Breathe deep breaths, preparation breaths, stagger!
Ride the Chariot:
Have fun
Light and dance like
Think separation using crisp consonants
Dynamic contrasts but no slow down at piano sections
Support with low breaths
Need more bass on the ending G. If you have it, please sing it!!!!
Hymn to the Fallen:
No audible breaths anywhere
Stagger, stagger
Think you are a bellow, in and out.
Watch Sheldon
Think you are vocalizing on the beautiful oooh and ah vowels
Use the consonant d to keep you on point
Jubilate Deo:
Bounce
Look up always by holding music up
Section B still needs work. Drill it!
Middle section is challenging. You must watch Sheldon
Watch your cutoffs. When in doubt, don’t put on the S.
Soprano I, go up to high G at end!!
Illuminare:
Michael gave you plenty of things to think about and practice. It will be beautiful but think BREATH, crisp consonants, light in Nox in fast sections, look up!!!! Michael gives you all you need. Return the favor!!!
