I am here visiting a former Banghart scholar Katie Allen, who recently graduated from Belmont University and was just named a digital marketer for Capital Records. I was fortunate to get a tour of the building. She was up against thousands of applicants and nine interviews later, she was offered the job. In one of the questions, she described her experience with Deer Creek Chorale and the opportunities it provided her. Pretty exciting stuff!
Rehearsal was fabulous on Tuesday. You tackled Homeland and we were able to get through the entire piece. We also learned movement 3. Practice putting in the stomps with Sing to the Sky and memorize!
Because we had good attendance and are ready to polish our repertoire for May 3, there will be no rehearsal on March 31. Enjoy your evening off, but please, continue listening and practicing and applying the takeaways from the session with Jason.
