03/28/2022 – DCYC – April/May Calendar!

We are so excited for our concert this coming Sunday, April 3rd at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cockeysville.  It’s a busy weekend for us – so please make sure all of the times are on your calendar!  I had hoped to host a post-concert reception at my house, but I did anticipate being halfway through a messy home renovation/addition when I initially put that on the calendar 🙂 For all who are able, we will gather for dinner at Season’s Pizza – right next door to the church.  It’s a counter service restaurant so it should be easy for everyone to order separately, but sit together as you like. I hope your singer and family can join us!

Thursday, March 31 | Combined Rehearsal Schedule | Jubilate 5:15-7pm & Vivace 6:15-8pm

Friday, April 1st | 5-6:30pm | TOUR ONLY rehearsal at Bethel

Friday, April 1st | 6:30-8:30pm | DCYC Game Night at Bethel  Come and join your DCYC friends for a fun Friday!  Bring your favorite card/board game and  snack to share.

Saturday, April 2nd | 1-3pm | DCYC Dress Rehearsal at St. Joseph Catholic Church Cockeysville (please wear Teal DCYC Shirts)

Sunday, April 3 | 2:45pm Call | Concert at 4pm | DCYC Tour Send Off Concert at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Cockeysville. Free. Formal; Concert attire.  (Donations Accepted) Join us for dinner at Seasons’ Pizza after the concert!

Thursday, April 7 | ALL DCYC SINGERS Rehearsal 6-7:15pm.  TOUR REHEARSAL/Meeting/Testing 7:15-8pm

Friday-Sunday, April 8-10 | DCYC Tour to Philadelphia & Princeton!

Saturday, April 23 | 10-11:30am | VIVACE ONLY – Dress Rehearsal with Orchestra @ Goucher

Sunday, April 24 | 3pm Call | 4pm Concert | VIVACE ONLY – Darkness to Light – Concert with DCC at Goucher’s Kraushaar Auditorium.

Tuesday, April 26 | 6pm | Deer Creek Chorale Annual Meeting & Potluck at Bethel.  Come and celebrate the end of the DCC’s 15th anniversary season as we recognize highlights from the year and the annual budget, preview next season and vote-in incoming board members. DCYC Singers and parents are invited to attend!

Thursday, May 5 | 5-7pm | Mandatory Concert Rehearsal @ Chestnut Grove Presbyterian

Saturday, May 7 | 7pm | Hold Fast to Dreams – Deer Creek Youth Choir Spring Concert | Chestnut Grove Presbyterian Church. Ticketed.  Formal Concert attire.

Thursday, May 12 | 6-7:30pm at Bethel | Bring a Friend to Chorus Night! Invite your friends and fellow singers and their parents to come and see what DCYC is all about. All DCYC singers should invite a friend and join us for singing, games & and ice cream!
