3/31/2023 – Happy Friday!
Good morning, folks,
Another stunning and fun rehearsal on Tuesday! I think we are ready. Very excited about tomorrow. Here are some reminders:
All black, long sleeves, black shoes, will give you the ribbons tomorrow, which you should return before you leave.
Order of music – O love, Africa, Ukrainian, piece, With one voice all in a black folder.
Bring hydration and a snack if you like.
Be at 3400 Norman Ave. by noon. Concert is at 3 o’clock.
Now, for rehearsal on Tuesday. We will dig into the two masses. Please bring your questions. We will focus on problem spots which are mainly in the Credo sections of each. We will also spend time on light beyond shadow. As far as warm-ups, if you have a favorite, please either send that to me or tell us at rehearsal.
Tickets will be available at rehearsal. The only way we will fill that hall is if each one of you brings family, friends, colleagues, church members, etc. I will have extra half posters, which on the back talk about our collaborative partner camp sunrise. Feel free to use those to spread the word.
And a very exciting announcement is to come soon. Melissa will be sending out on Wednesday a request from fellow singer, Sue Hill. I will explain at rehearsal what it is all about. So stay tuned!
I look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow and making beautiful music together! Make some new friends, enjoy a diverse selection of music and move your audiences! I think if you inspire yourself, you will connect and move others. Remember, your face and body energy are important in making magic happen!!!
