4/21/2023 – Feels like summer!!!

Good morning, folks,

You were all on fire on Tuesday! What a rehearsal, and so much accomplished! And singing among you is such a treat for me. As you know, singing, has been a lifelong passion and getting to make music together is the ultimate privilege. A special thanks to Michael for his Animated and spot-on rehearsal and to Roy for keeping up!

A reminder that our rehearsal is at 7 o’clock in Merrick Hall  at Goucher College on Tuesday. Then on Friday, we will report to Goucher  from 7-10 pm. Saturday 2-5pm. We will be working with the orchestra and soloists on brand new risers! On Sunday, you will  report at 2:30 in concert dress. At that time we will take professional photographs. The concert begins at 4 PM.

Some reminders:

Order of music – light beyond shadow, Ukraine piece, mass in time of war, intermission, sunrise, mass, true light.

Concert dress-women gowns or long black dresses; men tuxedos, or all black with a black tie. And of course everyone is to wear black shoes.

Tickets are available online or in person on Saturday. Tickets will be available at the door with an additional fee.

Please take some time going over your music with the learning files. As Michael said, he will be very busy with the orchestra so much of the dynamics and line contour and syllabic stress and cut offs Will be up to you. Go over any tricky spots and be ready to get out of the music. True Light memorized!!!

Great article in the Aegis!!!
