Today 2-5pm
Wear comfortable shoes, bring hydration, and a sharpened pencil and your black folder. Need to practice, holding the folder with your music.
Consonants, consonants, consonants produce, clarity, energy, and confidence!
If you are unsure of where to cut off, and you are not watching Michael, do not put the final consonant on. Standing amongst you last night, I was hearing some messy cut offs. Michael gives most of them to you, so if you’re watching, you will be fine.
Melissa will be at rehearsal today to sell tickets.
Tomorrow we will be taking formal pictures before the event. Please show up in your concert dress and be in Merrick hall by 315 at the latest. Lilith will be our photographer. You might’ve seen her last night with her camera.
After we run the two major works, and talk about logistics, we will run the three pieces with me. Please review them since we haven’t done them, especially Light Beyond Shadow and the Ukrainian piece. True Light for memory!!!
See you soon! I am so proud of all of you for your achievement! Lots of difficult music, and you are singing it with passion. Everything going forward will seem easy!!!
