5/03/2024 – Last regular Friday missive until September

I cannot believe that it has been only five days since we were all making glorious music together! And three days since we were sharing a delicious meal! What a season we have had and what growth we continue to experience!

So many memorable moments, too many to list. The slideshow captured many of them, and we will continue to add to it. As plans evolve, I will share on a periodic basis. But I do have these major dates which you can put on your calendar now.

June 1: Registration opens.

September 17: Rehearsals begin.

September 29: Chamber Choir in concert at Chestnut Grove.

November 24: “To the Hands That….” Fall concert.

December 10: Ebb and Flow at Ladew Topiary Gardens.

December 15: Chamber and DCYC in Center for the Arts Holiday concert.

January 21: Second semester begins.

March 2: Chamber Choir at St. James Church.

March 8: Annual “With One Voice Choral Festival”.

March TBS: joint concert with Susquehanna Symphony Orchestra

May 10: “Let All the World Sing” Spring concert

We are still reviewing music, but will have the final list and syllabus prepared by September 1. At that time, the learning files will also be updated.

And do keep me updated on any significant news. I know many of you are continuing to make music and even traveling on music tours this summer.
