May 6, 7-9:45 dress rehearsal at Kraushaar at Goucher. Greg advises me that we have enough chairs with many of you bringing one. Bring music in order in a black folder, water, and a sharpened pencil. Be seated on the stage by 7pm. Greg will put you in order. Similar to March 9th placement.
May 10, report time TBS, concert is at 7 PM.
May 13, 6pm membership dinner. Make sure you sign up according to your voice part on sign-up genius. Always a wonderful celebration and announcement of our 19th season!!
Invite, invite, invite. A wonderful Mother’s Day present! I am meeting with Michael on Tuesday afternoon, and he reports that we have a fabulous orchestra, including players from the BSO. We are all very excited. A project such as this does not come cheap. We need to have people in the seats!
Today I’m going to Frederick to hear Judy Dubose’s final concert with the Frederick children’s chorus, which she founded 40 years ago. The passing of the torch!
Have a wonderful weekend and see you on Tuesday. Stay well and practice! The rehearsal was fabulous but still having a bit of an issue with the Mozart and some rhythms. Be targeted in your review and get your head out of the music! As I always say, the better you know the music, the more fun you will have at the performance.
