7/26/2024 – Congratulations are in order!
Dearest singers, staff and board,
It is with great excitement and pleasure that I announce the appointment of Dr. Roy Belfield, Jr. as Associate Professor of Music, Director of Choirs and Orchestra at Goucher College starting August 12. This has been in the works for some time and once again, the stars aligned with Michael’s resignation and Roy being disheartened with his job at Towson United Methodist Church. We came really close to losing him to another location, so we are all blessed that he would remain in the area. Roy is a consummate teacher, incredible accompanist/organist and an exceptional human being. Goucher is truly fortunate that Roy was looking for a new musical adventure and so are we!! The collaborative opportunities and FUN are endless!!!
