8/19/2025 – Countdown has begun!
Dear choristers,
One month from tonight, we resume our music making together. I am really looking forward to this, our 19th season, celebrating the Echoes of the Earth. We welcome many new singers and look forward to a revival of the 50th anniversary of When icicles hang, our annual With One voice concert hosted by Stephen Holmes at the Church of the Resurrection and the mid Atlantic premiere of Missa Pro Terra with our dear friend Paul Rardin on the podium. So many other exciting things coming up, including Inform and Inspire at Silo Hill with a special guest, our online auction, the trip to Carnegie Hall in April and the concerts given by our two select groups. And our community service initiative will focus on the humane societies of both Harford and Baltimore counties.
I hope everyone has had a wonderful summer and have recharged your batteries.
Make sure you have registered so that Donna can get your music packets in order.
Please enjoy this recording of a piece we will add to our repertoire. The text really speaks to me as does the beautiful lyrical setting.
Enjoy these last dog days of summer and will see you soon.
