8/20/2024 – 1 month from tonight!

As I sat in the cabin on Lake Temagami this past Sunday with our Canadian DCC fans, I was mesmerized as I showed them clips from our 2023-2024 season. I wish you could have experienced their reactions. My heart filled with pride and joy and great excitement to make that magic happen again.

I hope you have had a wonderful summer and are enjoying the cooler, clear weather which we have sent to you from up north. Certainly, Fall is in the air, and the aspen trees are beginning to change. That means it will soon be time to head back to Maryland. Even though it is bittersweet to leave this enchanted island, the strains of O Love at Chestnut Grove draws me home.

So many glorious experiences ahead! I am counting down the days!!! We will kick off the year with our welcome back dinner which has evolved from picking up music and a cookie in the parking lot to yummy treats and a comfortable chair. Please sign up!!!

And a special thanks to Melissa for keeping the communication lines open this summer and for all those working behind the scenes on our upcoming auction. We will need everyone to help out in some way to make the auction successful.
