DCYC to participate in Maryland Young Voices Festival!

DCYC is pleased to announce that it will participate in the Feb. 2020 Maryland Young Voices Festival. We are so very excited to learn that this year’s clinician and conductor will be Dr. Susan Brumfeld.
Dr. Brumfeld is Professor of Music Education at Texas Tech University and holds a Ph.D. from the University of Oklahoma. She is known throughout the U.S. and Europe as a clinician, author, composer, arranger and choral conductor.
There is great demand for Dr. Brumfeld as a guest clinician and conductor. She is currently artistic director and conductor of the West Texas Children’s Chorus. In 2018 she was also director of the American Choral Directors Association Eastern Division Children’s Honor Choir.
The DCYC and the DCC Chamber Choir women had the pleasure of singing, No Time, a piece composed by Dr. Brumfeld. Other favorites of the DCYC COMPOSED BY Dr. Brumfeld are Bandyrowe and Let There Be Love.
