05/05/2021 – May DCYC Schedule – Thursday Rehearsal 5:30-6:45pm OUTSIDE
Dear DCYC Families,
Thank you all so much for your help in making last Thursday a huge success for our singers! They sang BEAUTIFULLY and I’m so excited to share all of these songs with you in our virtual concert performance. That concert “Wake Me a Song” will feature all of the different Deer Creek Choirs – Chorale, Chamber Choir, Youth Choir & Ladies Six. It is going to be released a little later than planned – most likely the first weekend in June. I will keep you posted so you can invite family and friends – especially those who can’t join us in person on May 23rd.

For the next 3 Thursdays, we will have one combined rehearsal for ALL singers from 5:30-6:45pm. We will move back outside behind the church office (brick house) for these rehearsals. In the case of inclement weather, we will split our rehearsal 50/50 in the Fellowship Hall/Sanctuary.
Please encourage your singer to record some solos on Flipgrid as we will add additional solos for our May 23rd performance. Please have them do this by THIS Wednesday May 5th!

Please invite a few friends, siblings, neighbors, etc to join us for a night with DCYC. We will sing, play games, eat ice cream/Rita’s!) and end with a short performance! YOU are our best way of reaching new singers in our community! Please help us spread the word via e-mail, Facebook & in person so we can rebuild our program and get back to 2 choirs in the fall! DCYC Singers will receive copies of the attached flyers at rehearsal this week.
