Good morning singers,
What a couple weeks! Your board of directors has been working tirelessly to make the transition to a new rehearsal venue as smooth as possible. And we are all excited to have found a temporary home at Chestnut Grove Presbyterian Church on Sweet Air Road in Phoenix. Pastor Andy and his entire team have welcomed us with open arms and for that, we are truly blessed. So starting on January 31, we will be rehearsing in the sanctuary of Chestnut Grove at 3701 Sweet Air Road, Phoenix, 21131. With this space available to us for the Spring semester, the Board can now explore options for our permanent home. And here is an additional note from your board:
Board meetings are the third Monday of the month and are open to all DCC members. Due to recent events, the location of each meeting has not been determined. If you would like to attend a particular Board meeting, call any Board member for information.
Now that our business part of this missive is done, I want to thank you for your flexibility and for the fabulous rehearsal on Tuesday. And thanks to Pastor Joe Cochran and St. James for allowing us to be there on suchshort notice. What a beautiful historic Church! A special thanks to Suzanne for giving us a brief history and to Andrew for filling in on the piano. We have so many talented folks in our midst!
