10/21/2022 – Greeting from Vienna!

What a whirlwind concert tour this has been! I wish you could’ve all been with us, mainly for the privilege to sing under Marin Alsop’s  baton. It has truly been inspiring and doing it in such a beautiful city!!! Attached are a couple of pics from tonight’s rehearsal and a video of our  practice in Prague. Otherwise I have been posting pics on the DCC Facebook page. Check them out.

Greg reported that you accomplished a lot at Tuesday’s rehearsal. Thank you for your hard work and I can’t wait to hear your pieces on Tuesday. At that time we will add the last selection, Blue Skies and review everything in preparation for Dr. Ed McClary‘s visit on November 1. He will focus on true colors, deep purple and the blue ridge.

Reminder  that auditions are this Tuesday and tickets for the November 20 concert will be on sale in the lobby from 6:30 to 6:45. The event on November 13 is sold out. If you were unable to get tickets, please let Melissa know and she will put you on the waitlist.

Concert tomorrow night and then early morning flight on Sunday. We cannot wait to share our stories with you. May be time for the DCC to tour!!!!!
