Dear folks,
What a wonderful and stress-free dress rehearsal on Tuesday! I was so pleased and am looking forward to this program on Sunday. The music is such fun and you have prepared very well. In the beginning, I was a bit nervous about a couple of the movements, but you have risen to the occasion! Huge thanks to Roy and Derrick and Allen for their hard work on this piece. We certainly hope Allen is back in singing shape on Sunday.
As you know, Saint Ignatius is huge. Our tickets sales have not been what I was hoping for. Many community groups require their members to sell/buy a certain number of tickets for each performance. We don’t have any of those requirements, but I am challenging you to sell/buy two tickets between now and Sunday. As I said below, it takes personal inviting to build an audience. Share our latest Facebook post and talk it up at work and Church and wherever you might gather. Now that you can buy tickets directly on our website for no additional cost, it should bolster those sales.
So please, take on the challenge, report to your place in the venue by 2:45 ready for professional pictures. Ladies pick up a scarf from Suzanne. We will just have time to start each movement and address a couple spots. Remember, the more you know it and the more you are familiar with the text, the more you will have fun and enjoy the ride! Or should I say the sleigh ride!
