05/16/19 – A Note From Dr Derrick Fox

Dear DCC members,

Thank you so much for your commitment to musical excellence as I know it was driving force behind our successful performance of the Rutter [May 5 2019]. From the first rehearsal to the last note of the concert, I was so impressed by how hard each of you worked to bring your best personal musicianship to the process. I appreciate you for allowing me to be a part of your journey. I found myself looking up often during my time with you and finding joy in seeing the faces of people from age 8 – 80 in one choral performance. How amazing is that! You represent what music should be and that is people of all ages and abilities coming together to create a unique and special experience through singing. Thanks again for having and congratulations on a wonderful presentation of the Rutter!
