04/06/2022 – DCYC Tour – FINAL DETAILS!

I apologize for not getting these details out to you yesterday. It’s been a crazy week and it’s only Wednesday 
Now…for all of the details and reminders you’ve been waiting for!
FINAL TOUR DETAILS & SCHEDULE

4/7 – Thursday Rehearsal, Testing & Tshirts & Harry Potter…
Full DCYC Rehearsal from 6-7:15pm and Tour singers stay for rehearsal/testing from 7:15-8pm.
All chaperones and singers should plan to bring their test with them on Thursday. We will test in small groups. If you still need one, please let me know today!
Tour T-shirts and Pullovers will be handed out on Thursday night. I apologize that I was not able to get these to everyone sooner. If there is a parent or two available to help with this on Thursday I would be super grateful! It would be helpful if you could be there at 6 to help organize. Please let me know if you can help.
Just a reminder that I need Harry Potter payments from the following people (just a reminder the cost was $30/person. Checks can be made out to Deer Creek Chorale – OR PayPal “friends and family” to dcctreasurer@deercreekchorale.

Friday Departure
6:30am – Meet at Bethel! If you plan to leave a car in the parking lot, please do so towards the dumpsters in the back. Singers and Parents should wear their TEAL DCYC t-shirts on Friday. Pullovers can also be worn as needed.
Packing Reminders
Please make sure you have all of your DCYC uniforms and double check everything on the packing list. Keep in mind singers need some cash for lunch in Philly on Friday and Snacks in six flags (if they want) and Dinner on the way home on Sunday. I know this is a strange addition but I’ve also added a hammer to the packing list for our visit to ringing rocks park (

Temple University Waivers for ALL singers and chaperones
If you did not sign a waiver at our parent meeting on March 10, I need to have these tomorrow. Please make sure you submit your waiver to me tomorrow night. A copy is attached.

Chaperone Groups & Cell Phone List

Please take a look at the document attached and let me know if we need to make any adjustments. The most important thing is that the four chaperones that are highlighted are responsible for the singer that is highlighted in the same color. Those 5 singers do not have a parent on the trip. Singers whose parents are on the trip will have flexibility. We can alter things based on preference at Franklin Institute and Six flags. There will also be times when chaperones hold onto singer’s phones (on the bus to encourage socialization, concerts, etc) so be sure you have the chaperones number saved if you can’t reach your child in case of emergency.
