06/02/2022 – Brahms Requiem Singalong Concert June 17th

Dear singers,
Please read the invitation below. This is a wonderful opportunity to sing with others a masterwork. Even if you only know movement 4 or just want to listen to a wall of beautiful sound, join in the fun and exhilaration!!!!

My dear colleagues,

I hope your seasons are wrapping up with the pomp as befits your celebratory return to live music making this season!  I hope too that you will be able to receive some much-needed rest in the coming months.  Congratulations on a job well done!

I am writing to invite you personally to the first in-person Chorus America Conference since 2019, which is being held in a slightly truncated and smaller form this summer in our great city of Baltimore!  The conference runs from the 15th-17th June.

Specifically, I am sending this to serve as an invitation to join Baltimore Choral Arts in a Singalong concert of Brahms’ “Ein deutsches requiem” on 17th June at 5:30pm at Westminster Hall, Baltimore.  It is sure to be a great time as hundreds of us make great music together.  Scores in an electronic format will be available on the Chorus America website soon and we will have a limited number of hard copies, but I know many of your constituents will have their own already.

On the event page there is (or will be soon) a way to reserve a free seat.  By the way, unless anything changes in our regional case numbers, I am assuming this will be a masked event.

All information can be found at https://chorusamerica.org/conf2022

I hope to see you there!

Warm regards,

Anthony Blake Clark
