Chamber Choir dazzles at Edenwald

Wow!  What a beautiful audience!  On Thursday evening, May 12th our Chamber Choir had the pleasure of performing at Edenwald Senior Living in Towson.  How nice it was to be able to sing for them again after over two years!  To see all of those smiling faces was priceless!
Our program was divided into three parts including Storytelling, Love and Hope.  Some songs were obviously familiar to the audience and as I gazed out I saw some of those folks singing right along with us!  Our Scottish song, LOCH LOMOND was a favorite with a fine solo by our tenor Jonroy Canady.  The audience seemed quite enthusiastic about that song which was fun for all.  We were so happy that they stayed to hear the rest of the program.  For a minute I thought some of them  might be on their way to Scotland “afore” us!
How refreshing for us to be singing together again in person!  Many of us were approached by audience members afterward with hugs, smiles and genuine thanks and appreciation.  There were some who wanted to sign right up and start singing with us!!  What nice compliments from a lovely community.
Thank you Edenwald!  We hope to see you again next year.
