“Love is a many faceted subject” – An Ebb and Flow reflection

Love is a many-faceted subject, and on Saturday night I had the pleasure of exploring its many meanings with a few beloved members of my choral family at the beautiful Manor Mill. Through two hours of chorus and conversation, my musical comrades and I reveled in the many forms love can take in our lives. We ached with the soft strains of heartbreak of love long lost and delighted in the playful banter of love only begun. We tumbled through the celebratory love of equality and our fellow man and soared into the triumphant affirmations of sisterhood and love for oneself by the end of it all. The evening proved to be a breathtaking journey of discovery and beauty woven by the magic of song, a journey traveled by each of us whether performer or purveyor. It was a night I will cherish for time immemorial, and I can’t wait to experience the magic yet again when next we gather together.
